Located just off of 394 near Target Field in Minneapolis and steps from the Lyndale Avenue Farmers Market, the Holden Room is the perfect venue for your next wedding or corporate event. Natural lighting and a modern, industrial aesthetic also make this clean space an excellent background for professional photography shoots.
Our building located at 147 Holden Street was constructed in 1955 to house the glass warehouse and mirror manufacturing plant of the Minneapolis-based Ford McNutt Company. Designed by the same architectural firm that completed the iconic Foshay Tower, the building was meant to last.
Ford McNutt sold the building to Brin Northwestern Glass, who occupied the building until it was purchased by Hennepin Made in 2016 to expand their glassblowing endeavors.
Hennepin Made plans to launch The Holden Room in December 2017.
5,000 square feet
We've kept the original concrete floors, exposed steel beams, overhead track, and glass garage door that opened to receive railroad shipments in the building's early days. Modern amenities have been added to highlight the original aesthetic of the Holden Room and continue its legacy into the twenty-first century.
The Holden Room is currently under construction. Keep track of our progress on Instagram @theHoldenRoom.
